2026 Abstract - INTEGRATION OF LIVESTOCK IN ROW CROP AND SOLAR APPLICATIONS: Integrating livestock production or renewable energy generation, supporting both agricultural and environmental goals. NRCS programs such as EQIP and CSP offer technical and financial assistance for vegetation management, pollinator habitat, and grazing infrastructure under solar arrays. Grazing livestock reduces vegetation control costs, improves soil health, and promotes carbon sequestration while keeping land in agricultural use. NRCS field staff assist with planning, site assessment, and practice implementation to align grazing systems with conservation and energy site standards. This partnership demonstrates practical, climate-smart agriculture in action.
