2025 Abstract - BIOLOGICAL PRODUCT EFFECTS ON SOYBEAN IN MISSISSIPPI: With many new biological products being marketed towards Mississippi soybean producers to increase yield, these products need independent third-party testing. Further complicating biological adoption is a myriad of active ingredients within the biological product market. We determined the effects of biological products on soybean productivity in the predominate soybean growing regions of Mississippi. This study was conducted in small plot research trials at Raymond (2024 only), Stoneville, Starkville, and Verona, MS during 2023 & 2024. The study analyzed nine biological products coupled with an untreated and treated control for comparison. Results will include canopy closure, nodulation, nutrient uptake, and yield.
